Terms & Conditions

Booking

We accept no responsibility for incorrect email or inability to deliver email. If your confirmation does not arrive on time or at all, then you must ask us to resend the email confirmation of the tour. All Internet bookings will be confirmed by email. We reserve the right to sell any places reserved without payment or a deposit. It is the responsibility of the passenger to check the accuracy of dates booked upon receipt of their travel documents.

Insurance

We take no responsibility for any injuries or loss to you incurred whilst you are taking part in any optional activities that are outside our all-inclusive package. We strongly recommend that you take out comprehensive insurance cover for cancellation, medical expenses, personal accident, personal baggage, money and public liability before you travel. You may not be accepted as a Lahinch Travel passenger unless you have arranged satisfactory insurance. We accept no responsibility for the theft, loss or damage to personal belongings from at any time during the duration of your tour. All our vehicles, and those of our Transport Partners are insured to international standards

Payment Process

In order to secure your booking, a 25% non-refundable deposit is required. The remainder of the balance is due 60 days prior to your tour commencing. All prices are quoted in Euro. Payment can be made by bank draft, Iban - Swift Code, The preferred and most secure method of payment. Other transfers by major credit card via www.paypal.co.uk. Enquire> Book 25% deposit paid immediately Full Payment - 25% deposit = Due 8 weeks or more prior to arrival An itineraries package will be provided upon final payment. An initial itinerary will be provided following the booking and deposit.

Cancellations

In the event of cancellation of any part of your tour, communication must be provided by email/fax followed by written confirmation. The following cancellation charges apply based on the table below: • 12 weeks prior to the arrival, the initial deposit • 8-12 weeks prior to the arrival, 30% of the total costs and the deposit • 4-8 weeks prior to the arrival, 50% of the total costs and the deposit • Within 4 weeks of the date of arrival, 100% of the total costs and the deposit

Amendments By Us

We reserve the right to change our typical itineraries at any time and at our discretion. As professionals we will endeavour to avoid this and should this is necessary, due to unforeseen circumstances, we will substitute alternative arrangements of comparable monetary value We reserve the right to alter the itinerary in the event of happenings outside the control of Lahinch Travel. This includes outbreaks of 'foot and mouth' or other contagious diseases, revolution, national or local strikes and/or protests, social disorder, political unrest.

Obligations By You

You must inform us in writing of any medical condition that requires attention, or medication before your tour commences. This is to ensure your comfort and safety while travelling with Lahinch Travel. It is your responsibility to have all necessary visas, passports, permits and certificates required for your selected itinerary as well as any necessary vaccinations. During your tour your tour guide may take photographs and films of you (as part of a group) while you are a passenger and these may be used in our Group brochures and/or advertising and publicity material without obtaining any further consent or payment in respect of such photographs and/or films

On Board

You must obey the laws of the Republic of Ireland. We would ask you to show respect to the many diverse customs that exist in Ireland. If you do not do so, you may be asked to surrender your ticket, which may be cancelled without any refund. It is our representative who will decide what suitable emergency action must be taken and their decision will be final Your appointed Lahinch Travel Tour Guide may need to make a decision in the interests of safety. Wind /Weather conditions can be dangerous in Ireland. Your guide will ensure that you can alight the vehicle in a safe place. It is a condition of bookings that you comply with the authority and decisions of the appointed representative of Lahinch Travel. If you do not comply with the said representative, and are not compatible with the general enjoyment and well being of members of the tour, we reserve the right to refuse to allow you to continue the tour. In such a case we will not be liable for any refund, compensation or any additional costs incurred by you. We cannot accept liability for the behaviour of others on your tour.

Disclaimer

Lahinch Travel shall not be held liable for; and by accepting these terms the customer waives any claim against all such parties for; (a) any loss of or damage to property or injury to any person caused by reason of any defect, negligence, or other wrongful act or omission of, or any failure of performance of any kind, any inconvenience, loss of enjoyment, mental distress or other similar matter; any delayed departure, missed connections, substitutions of accommodations, terminations of service, or change in fares or rates; and any cancellation or double booking of reservations beyond the control of Lahinch Travel Because of Force Majure Legislation, Golf courses may to close due to a sudden bereavement etc. We will endeavour to make alternative arrangements on your behalf. Such circumstances are understandably beyond the control of Lahinch Travel
